BENGALURU: Dell International Services India’s revenue rose 18% to Rs 15,576 crore (over $2 billion) in 2018-19, compared to the year before. The company’s net profit dropped 28% to Rs 342 crore.
Dell may have other entities in India. The company's CFO said earlier this year that they are close to $3 billion in revenue in India.
Dell International Services’ employee benefits expense last year rose sharply to Rs 2,443 crore, from Rs 1,967 crore, largely on account of integration and related expenses.
Dell now calls itself Dell Technologies, combining a family of businesses including Dell, Dell EMC, Pivotal, RSA, Secureworks, Virtustream and VMware.
In 2016, Dell and EMC came together to create an IT powerhouse with combined revenue of $74 billion. Dell Technologies today has a combined revenue of $92 billion.
The company services customers across 180 countries. Its services business spans consulting, deployment, support and managed services.
